The new playground at Riverside Estate is officially opened! Located on Fydler Street between Cuthbert Street & Doubell Street, the playground is a fantastic addition to the Estate.
Comprising a half-court basketball court, chin up fitness bars, multipurpose play set with a slide, climbing frames, cargo nets, swings and a nest swing, the playground is action packed. For the convenience of all visitors there is a water bubbler, bench seating and a shelter. A large shade cloth is to be installed and will provide year-round comfort.
The Playground was designed and developed by Wodonga City Council, with a contribution by JMP Developments. Director Jenny Stern said, ‘Council has really done a fantastic job. The playground not only looks great but it is so functional, with some really great features. It is a great addition for the Estate and residents’.
